Away fans at the London Stadium
Been to the first 2 games at our new home and still non plussed about the away fan segregation. I even asked plod on my way into the Juve game , they had not a clue.

Domzale didn't really bring any fans, at least non that I could see and Juve had a few hundred dotted around the South or STB stand, no segregation at all... That was more than a little bizarre...

There is no obvious place for the away fans except the lower tiers of with the STB or SBM stands.

Anyone know the answer to this and also what will happen in the event of an FA Cup game for which they will be entitled up to 9,000 seats.

Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
As this points out, UK legislation is quite clear that standing is fine, with the Football Spectators Act of 1989 only requiring that top two division clubs provide all-seater stadia.
It is the Football League that has a 'model set of ground regulations' stating
‘Nobody may stand in any seating area whilst play is in progress. Persistent standing in seated areas whilst play is in progress is strictly forbidden and may result in ejection from the ground’. - See more at: http://www.fsf.org.uk/campaigns/safe-standing/the-legalities-of-standing/#sthash.oOHgUfp0.dpuf and it is this Brady seems hung up about.
So really, if the club grew a pair of balls in the pursuit of a decent football experience for all concerned, there is nothing in the way of innovative solutions like many on the continent. For instance, Legia Warszawa have rewarded loyal ST holders with an end of their own. This never sits. provides a spectacle to which the on-pitch activity comes a distant second and, while being totally the opposite of PC, is an integral part of the city's normal family entertainment enjoyed from the rest of the all-seater stadium. Not that I'm saying Legia Warszawa ought to be any kind of model for us, mind you.

I think that's the plan, take the aways through PML.

I'm trying to work out if the aways will use turnstile D or E, so we can work out our route. We've used either PML or Bow/A12 walk so far.

Has anyone noticed how the home fixtures have panned out... Not a sniff of an opposing fan problem until maybe Stoke in November but they are not exactly crazy fuckers away

So Millwall home in the cup maybe or wait till Man U in Jan 2017

Gives the plod sometime to sort things out

If they are in the south west corner, is there an exit there that leads to Pudding Mill Lane? If so, this may be the plan for high risk escorts.

Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
Our STs are 217 staircase, then a couple of seats in towards 216. On the CGI when we bought, they had about 3 seats for home fans the other side of 217 staircase, then the tarpaulin or whatever, with the Aways starting the other side of the 218 staircase. Plus the lower tiers 117 etc.

Reckon they'll need to up the stewarding, the ones I've seen so far wouldn't be able to stop anything if it goes off.

My understanding is the same as

AWAYS are in 117,217, which are NOT the best seats...217 is nearly in Bow ffs

Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
I think there could be some tear ups in Westfields, with public transport the best way to get in to the ground, I expect away fans will be arriving in numbers.

Could get lively.

Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
I'm in 217, aways are bang next door in 218, and below, 117 on.

I'm assuming aways get shipped in via the D turnstile, and home fans in the south blocks use E and C??

I was under the impression that the away section will be the corner of the STB stand in the upper tier?

Mad Dog 12:16 Thu Aug 11
Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
I thought they were in the corner. Therefore giving them some of the best seats. We should have given them the shitiest seats furthest from the pitch.

Re: Away fans at the London Stadium
All games will be like the Juve match with away fans dotted around the stadium and mingling with home fans. Part of the club's efforts to ensure we are a "family club"...

Or at least this will be the case once the club root out the PLAGUE of standing up...

Wouldn't put anything past our Board.

I assume this has been discussed ad infinitum on another thread, but as I don't "live" on WHO there is no obvious thread.
